Gregg has been a professional calibrator since 2001 and a longtime home theater enthusiast. He has also consulted with many companies including Atlantic Technology, Outlaw Audio, Optoma Projectors, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., Widescreen Review, Datacolor, Pioneer, JVC Professional, Panasonic, LG, SpectraCal, and THX Ltd. He is certified by Runco as an Installer and also is a THX Certified Level I and II Professional. Gregg is an ISF instructor and also the only THX Video Standards Instructor in the USA.

All Lion Audio Video Consultants use spectroradiometers. Gregg's current tools include: Photo Research PR670 SpectroRadiometer, Orbtronics SP-100 SpectroRadiometer, Sencore VP-403C HD Signal Generator, Accupel 3000 and 40000 HD Signal Generators, TVS Pro Optical Comparator, various other tools, and software packages. All Lion Audio Video Consultants have expertise in correcting color decoder issues and have mastered Color Management System manipulation.

Lab gear currently includes: Samsung AE710 DLP, Epson 1080UB LCD, Marantz VP11S1 DLP, Runco VX-2 3 Chip DLP. Samsung 40A850 LCD, Pioneer Elite 930 Plasma, Panasonic 42PH8UK and 42PZ800 Plasmas, Samsung HLS42 DLP, Sharp 46D64U LCD, LG 50PG60 Plasma, multiple anamorphic lenses, screens, and processors including the Lumagen Radiance and DVDO VP50Pro.
